What happened to the images from the seventh day I hear you ask? Well, I walked from Kreuzjoch at 2100m (6891 ft) to the Starkenburger Hut, but visibility was rarely more than 20 to 30 feet, so I never took a picture. At the end of the week we revisited Kreuzjoch, and here is a picture of the scene there:
