Little Mellfell, 30 December 2002
A morning walk up Little Mellfell from Watermillock. The snow has brushed the tops of the fells above the eastern shore of Ullswater.
Up the lane past Watermillock Church. Little Mellfell (out of the clouds at this point) is on the rear right horizon. On Ann Bowker's website (www.keswick.u-net.com) she says it is the easiest fell to climb but the hardest to photograph!

Coffee on the summit. No view, but just enough snow for a snowball fight!
