A WALK ALONG THE PEMBROKESHIRE COASTAL PATH FROM ABER BACH TO PORTHGAIN
Part 1

Our walk started by the small rocky beach at Aber Bach.

Pebbles on the storm beach at Aber Mawr

We soon encounter the cliffs.

One of the many places where the sea has broken through the cliffs.

A view along the coast as we make our way to Abercastle.

At this point the path drops down nearly to sea level.

Fascinating stretch of coast

This wall, which runs alongside the coastal path at this point, is apparently known locally as 'The Great Wall of China'.

Abercastle

The mouth of the harbour at Abercastle

A short diversion from the path at Abercastle leads to the burial chamber known as Carreg Sampson. The capstone is only balanced on three of the upright ones!
