The classic view from below the Honister Pass of High Crag, High Stile, Red Pike, and Dodd above Buttermere. We will be walking along this ridge on this beautiful Spring day.
Shot against the sun, the shadows make Haystacks look a far more forbidding place than it actually is.
We cross the beck flowing from Warnscale Bottom into Buttermere.
The head of the lake with the slopes of Robinson beyond.
