Cami de Arxi Duc (the Archduke's Path)
The walk starts and ends in the picturesque town of Valldemossa. It ascends through a forest to the Mirador des Puntes where there are magnificent views from high above the Mediterranean. From a spectacular track made in the nineteenth century by the Archduke Luis Salvador leads on to a high ridge and over several peaks including Puig Caroli at 944 metres. From there the path drops down through another part of the forest back to Valldemossa.
